What you'll do

Six things. Concrete. Manageable.

Most of it happens in the run-up to each Forge cycle. Quiet weeks between sprints. Spikes around launch + briefing + debrief.

Spread the Forge brief on your campus

WhatsApp groups, Discord servers, college society channels, posters in canteens. We send you a content kit; you push it through your channels.

Host one "Forge Briefing" event per cycle

A 45-minute info session on your campus, we send the deck, swag, snacks and the brief. You bring 20+ interested builders in a room.

Help shortlisted applicants through registration

Once their applications land, walk them through the next steps. You're their first contact with the NMG ecosystem.

Be the on-ground voice

Answer questions, route doubts to the NMG team via Slack. You're the human layer between students and the program.

Run a post-Forge debrief on campus

After the cycle ends, share what your campus's builders shipped, what they won, photos from Gurgaon and what's next.

Stay active in the Ambassadors community

Slack + WhatsApp channel with the full cohort. Quarterly community calls. Best practices, brags and warnings shared peer-to-peer.

Who we're looking for

Doers. Communicators. Connectors.

You don't need to be a coder. You need to care about building something on your campus and have the people-energy to make it happen.

→ Currently enrolled at any college / university across India, tier 1- not necessary. We want depth, not prestige.
→ 18 to 25 years old, undergrad or postgrad.
→ Reachable on WhatsApp + Slack. Responsive within 24h is the floor.
→ Some kind of campus presence, student club, E-Cell, coding society, founder circle or a wide informal network.
→ Comfortable public speaking in front of large groups. You'll be running briefings live.
→ Genuinely curious about AI / startups / building things. Hype-only applicants don't make it past round 2.

Do I need to be a coder?

No. Communicators, designers, founders, organizers, content people, all welcome. We need range across the cohort.

What happens if my campus doesn't produce many applications?

For Cohort 01, no penalty in the first two cycles, we'll coach you. Performance review at the 3-month mark.

Can I be an ambassador AND build in a Forge cycle?

Yes, in fact we love when ambassadors also build. Priority Forge entry is one of the rewards.

What if I'm graduating soon?

Final-year welcome, but term renewability favors those with 2+ semesters left in college.

Is there an interview?

Yes, 20 minutes on video call after shortlisting.

How many ambassadors will be selected?

Cohort 01 selects elite campus ambassadors across India, roughly one per major campus. Cohort 02 opens later in 2026.
